Thank you for your interest in the 12th annual Formula Kart Productions Florida Winter Tour. These are instructions for using our discounted online registration. 

On-line registration saves the competitor a minimum of $50 over the on-site registration and provides competitors priority status at the on-site registration desk. 

Competitors who register for all three event-weekends prior to December 15^th will receive an additional $100 savings. More importantly, pre-registering for all three event-weekends is the only way to ensure you have the opportunity to participate in all three event-weekends. With several of the FWT classes hitting their caps in 2008 & 2009 it is important to register early. Pro Rotax, Rotax Senior and Rotax Junior will have a cap of 68, all other classes will have a cap of 34. 

FWT competitors under the age of 18 will be required to have proof-of-age on file with Formula Kart before their registration will be confirmed. If a competitor does not have proof-of-age on file they must email or fax it before their registration will be confirmed. In Rotax Micro Max, Rotax Mini Max and Formula Cadet first-time FWT competitors will be required to provide a completed FWT Rookie Form and proof-of-age before their registration will be confirmed. The FWT Rookie Form is available on the Terms and Conditions page in the registration section. Competitors in those classes should complete all 4 of the registration steps, then fax or email the completed FWT Rookie Form and the proof-of-age. It is important to note the registration will not be confirmed, and the driver will not be registered, until the completed FWT Rookie Form and the proof-of-age is on file with Formula Kart, and you have received a “Registration Confirmation” email from Formula Kart. 

The registration process consists of 4 steps. Your registration is not complete until you have completed all 4 steps and provided all requested information. You will know your registration is complete only when you receive a “Registration Confirmation” email from Formula Kart. 

STEP ONE OF FOUR / TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

When you click on the “REGISTER NOW” link you will be taken to the “Terms and Conditions” page. It is very important that you read these carefully. When you have finished with that page you must click on the “Continue to Step 2 of 4” button to continue. 

STEP TWO  OF FOUR / REGISTRATION REQUEST FORM 

It is very important that you take your time and complete all the data fields correctly. If you have not completed a data field correctly the form will prompt you to make corrections when you try to move to step 3. If the data field does not apply type “NA” in the data field. 

Once you click on “Continue to Step 3” you will be sent to an instructions page that includes instructions for completing Step 3 and Step 4. I would suggest you print it off, because once you enter the Formula Kart Productions Registration “Store” you won’t see those instructions again. 

STEP THREE OF FOUR / THE FWT REGISTRATION “STORE” 

This is where you will purchase almost everything you need to participate. Before you start in the store, stop, take a deep breath, and TAKE YOUR TIME! It will save you time! 

NOTE THAT YOU MUST FIRST CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR LOG IN TO YOUR EXISTING ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU ADD ANY ITEMS TO YOUR SHOPPING CART! 

If you add any items to your shopping cart before you create an account or log in to your existing account, you will not be able to complete the transaction. If you get to the end of the transaction and it won’t let you finish, it’s 99% sure that you added items to your shopping cart before you created an account or logged into your existing account. 

I would suggest you make a list of all the items you will need before you get started adding items to the shopping cart. Each “Class Entry” lists all the items included in the Class Entry. Do you need more pit passes for Saturday/Sunday? Do you need to rent a transponder? Do you need more oil? Tires? Rain tires? If you’re practicing on one of the Formula Kart practice days make sure you buy the days you need and any additional pit passes you need for those days. 

STEP FOUR OF FOUR / REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION 

As stated earlier, the instructions for Step 4 are on the page I asked you to print earlier. I’ll post that info here just in case: 

STEP FOUR, the final step of this process, is the Registration Confirmation. The Registration Confirmation will be emailed to you when I have received your Registration Request Form, your Payment Confirmation and, if you are registering a rookie or minor driver, the FWT Rookie Form or the Minor Drivers Birth Certificate or proof-of-age.

Once I have all these items the Registration Confirmation will be emailed to the email address you typed into the Registration Request Form.

The Registration Confirmation will include all the information provided in the Registration Request Form. The Registration Confirmation will also include the kart number assigned to the registered kart and driver. This number is a pre and post-tech item.

Once you receive the Registration Confirmation you should check it to make certain it is accurate. You should inform us immediately of any errors. If the Registration Confirmation is accurate, you should attach the Payment Confirmation to it and bring both these items with you to the on-site registration desk at the event.
